Can do.  Its not that hard of a process really just takes a bit of time to get it nice.  hell I still havent finished mine yet.  There is still a lip all along it where I welded the top plate and the sides together.  I havent cut it off or dont eh finish welding.  Sad, but Ive been finishing it as I have time.  Not much free time when I spend my free time wheeling.

Actually both a exo and a interior.  The exo will only be visible around the roof though.  The only rule for my truck is I dont want it to snow in the cab.  I want to protect the A pillars at all costs.

I've actually been thinking about doing toob front fenders that tie into my front bumper and sliders. I guess that's sorta Exo. I figure if I roll it and can't glue a windshield back in it....it's time for total toob.

Thats one way of looking at it.  If I still had a 1st gen I wouldnt worry about it.  I bought a 81 that was rolled pretty hard and I still got a windshield back into it.  The 1st gens use a gasket instead of urethane.  Easy replacement.  Actually Kyota is using that windshield now.  I sold it to him nce I scrapped the truck to build this one.  Damn that was a waste of $$$$....

Bad visibility and tree catching verticle bars, bad idea.  Id run the cowl bar inside the cowl and run the fender pars inside the fenders and poke them out to the sliders at the bottom of the fenders to keep from catching on everything.  Oh yea, got lift?  Damnit thats freaking huge!

Hmmm...interesting idea. Under the cowl? I haven't seen that one done yet. I get your point though. Yeah, those are 38.5's too!

IF I was to go full on exo there would be NO verticle bars on the sides at all.  Bad idea here in the PNW.  There have been a few on PBB that have done the cowl bars inside.  Its tricky but doable.

I would think it'd be hard to fit a larger enough piece of toob in there with the wiper controls and all.


Naw, no Exo for me. I'll beat this thing to death before that. I do however want to run some sort of toob fenders. It's just a hard thing to make look good on that body style. It's not flat like a POS...errr..Heap.

You know, I've seen some reallly super clean bob and dovetail jobs and that makes me want a truck. I really dig that style and VERY functional. I wonder if anyone has dovetailed a Runner? that would be different!

Funny but I was thinking about that earlier.  It is possible to say the least.  The hardest part is narrowing the tailgate.  the top is easy its just fiberglass and the body is cake too.  the tailgate has a window that would need to be narrowed.  That could be a biotch to have done or at least $$$.
