The thing to do is get an EFI wiring harness or a Painless wiring kit.  Is this engine going in a Truck/runner or a buggy?   :turtle:  :usa:

Pick up a Haynes or Chiltons manual for your year truck.  Those books have pretty good wiring diagrams.

What year is the efi coming out of?  That makes a fair amount of difference.  I have some scans of wither 89 or 91 22re diagrams.  Theres not much difference between thos two, but 88 and earlier is different.

I'm in the process of doing the same conversion on my 82.  I'll let you know what to look out for.  Although my motor is out of a 90.  I'll be using a factory engine harness with the offroad soiutions dash harness.  I guess it makes it alot easier to hook  up.  GOOD LUCK!!!
