Hi All,

On my all stock 1981 Toyota 4X4 (federal emissions), I'm installing my rebuilt carburetor and replacing some air injection components.  My question is with the phenolic carburetor spacer... I want to replace the spacer with a new one (with pre-mounted gaskets), however, Toyota no longer makes this spacer for my setup and good used spacers like the one I have are almost impossible to find. The spacer I have is basically solid with a small cutout for the PCV vacuum - The spacer that is available to purchase has the u-shaped slot for the PCV ports that are machined into the manifold (I do not have these ports on my intake manifold). In my research, some say the spacer with the u-shaped slot will seal off against the manifold and work just fine while others say to use the old spacer and two individual gaskets. Hoping to get additional information on whether or not the new spacer will work - Hoping it will so I can get the the new pre-mounted gaskets on the spacer.

New to the forum - Appreciate any help..

The newer spacer will not work on the older intake manifolds - Verified.
