Mating 20r to 91 r150f from a 3vze 4runner
« on: Sep 03, 2023, 10:27:31 AM »
Looking for some more info on what input shaft i have and what one i will need, what clutch flywheel and all that to use. I will be getting a jasper 20r + r151f bell housing + r150f trans.

91 4x4 4runner with the 3.0 3vze thats being a nightmare. Ready to boot it and swap in a simple carb motor.

I know i can fab 22re motor mounts or 22r to fit pretty easy as they came with 22re's but as for mating the r150f to the 20r i would like to be more sure of what to do with the shaft and flywheel, clutch, exc.

My 3.0 will run fine for a block or two then after that will slowly start cutting out more and more to the point it sounds like half the cyl's are working but when i fire it up fresh then it sounds like all 6.  Check engine light disappeared before i could check them and havnt came back.
Any help with that would be appreciated also.
