Tired of rubbing
« on: May 11, 2023, 05:09:36 PM »
So here's the specs:  2016 Tacoma with Icon Stage 6 suspension, 315/75R16 Geolanders.  Cab mount chop done.  Still rubbing on the rear of the front fenders pretty bad and some on the control arms with tight turns.  2 shops have told me 35s and Tacomas just don't mix!  But I see them all the time.  Anybody have experience maybe with more of a negative canter or spacers or anything like that without throwing off alignment or steering, etc?  I'm not opposed to 33s necessarily, but this is what came with the truck so if I can make it work, great.

Not all sizes are the same, so one set of 315's might fit better than another, rim width will also effect the overall height of the tire.

With the tire hitting the control arms, you need to run a rim with more of a negative offset than you have now, or a narrower tire.
