‘88 4 Runner Build
« on: May 07, 2022, 09:21:30 AM »
I have a 1988 Toyota 4 Runner  frame and body. That is about all the Toyota that it is right now. The plan is a Chevy LS, Ford super duty axles, 14 inch Kings in the front with a three link and Tundra leafs in the rear. I would like to start with 37‘s. I’m not concerned about super low center of gravity as I would like to make this a rock crawler and all around wheeling rig and weekend errand runner  not just hard core crawler. With the plans of 4” of up travel in the front. What is a good measurement for the frame to the ground? 20”, 22” 24”? I’m fine with a bit of fender trimming but don’t want to retub the rear or fire wall right now.
