Pan hard bar
« on: Dec 12, 2021, 10:00:06 AM »
Has anyone ever ram a pan hard bar on a front leaf set up? I’ve got a front D60 and recently installed full hydro with double sheer. Since the new steering set up. I’ve ran rubicon twice and fordyce twice along with Niagara. But both trips this year on fordyce I’ve sheared my leaf spring pins on the front leafs. I always check the pins/tighten before every tip. I’m kind thinking the full hydro might be to much for the spring pins ? Was thinking of installing a pan hard to to support this issue. What do y’all think ?

Does your ram still have more throw once you hit the steering stops? I have my double-ended ram limted to stop right before it hits the axle steering stops!! There are internal stops I made out of Delrin on the inside to limit the amount of throw of the ram!!

Yeah the ram is bumped correctly. Ram limits as the knuckles hit the bumps.
