Hey I'm looking for some stock rims and tires around the sacramento, ca area. I have heard it it could be easier to pass smog with stock tire size.
I'd like to quit thinking of the present as some minor insignificant preamble to something else~~~~~

Did you just fail?  IIf so, what were the numbers?  If not, what were the numbers on the last test?  If everything is functioning and you have the latest approved CARB cat, the difference in gears and tires, shouldn't necessarily cause you to fail the dyno.

Thank you very much. It was 10 years ago I failed. The truck has been sitting ever since. I just pulled it out, replaced the entire fuel stem including the gas tank and rebuilt carb. It had a new cat right when I failed and parked it. A mechanic is trying to fix the vacume issues and new egr. Cross your fingers. It would be great to have it back on the road.

Thanks for your help!.
