Hey guys,

I am hoping that one of you has a set of factory front 4runner seats from a late 80s V6? I want these for the double slider action on the passenger side to allow better access for the back seat for my kids.

I absolutely hate the cheap seats I have now and am about to start my roll cage so I'd also like to do some interior work as well.

Dream is good condition and bolt in ready, brown or tan in color but I'll work with whatever I can find.

I am in northern california so I'm looking for something fairly local as shipping would be a killer.

3rd gen and 1st gen Tacoma X-cabs seats should also work, due to passengers needing access to the rear seats.

not off a 4runner but got a set of front buckets high back out of a 96 explorer sport. the driver seat has that gangster lean and wont adjust up. pass seat works fine and slides great. found a pair from the junk yard to replace those and you can have the old ones if you want. or next time i go to the junk yard i can look fer you, didnt see many yotas though. but im in az.

no worries. i figured as much. sticking with factory will be better anyway. ill prob make some shop chairs with them.

Checking the movement of my '90 X-cab seats, they slide 8", and have about 16" of clearance between the seat back and door pillar when folded forward.

Another option, would be to use Supra, Celica, Paseo, seats, or maybe a set of 2 door Corolla seats. The set of '94 Supra seats in my '91 X-cab, have 9" of slide, and have about 18" of clearance from the seatback to door pillar when folded forward.

Not certain where in NorCal you are. Im in Mammoth Lakes, E. Sierra south of Carson City.

Have a set of nice SR5 seats outta my 87 runner. Grey cloth. No stains. Recline and headrests operational and perfect. Sliders work perfect, PS seat is in perfect condition. DS has small wear tear in usual spot so would need attention at some point. I have a nice of tape over it now.
