Dual diaphram brake booster bolt on for 85?
« on: Oct 14, 2020, 08:59:48 PM »
Does anyone know if there is a no modification dual diaphragm brake bootser that bolts directly on to 85 runner?
Booster #532460 for the 86 thru 88 are not available any more.
My existing single stage has become rough and sticky and it's time for an upgrade, little disappointed, it only made it  350000 miles

86-87 turbo trucks came stock with dual diaphragm boosters..IIRC the 2wd part has slightly longer studs...

All the places I contacted say the 86 through 88 dual diaphragm boosters #532460  are out of stock and discontinued
Has anyone used a booster from the Next Generation that still had the 22RE engine  90 thru 95?

I've run into the same problem trying to find a 532460 turbo booster, seems it's the only one that will fit my first gen.

I'm pretty sure there are multiple options for second gen trucks. I thought any of the 3.0 v6 boosters would work? I think I've even heard of people running the fj80 booster
