L50 bell housing to W56 transmission?
« on: Sep 19, 2020, 11:46:44 AM »
I bought a marlin crawler rebuilt W56 to replace my L50 transmission on my 81 longbed, Iím going to be using a FROR crossmember but should I use or could I use the bell housing from my L50 to save a couple inches it looks a bit shorter than the one thatís on the W56? Would it bolts up? Would it push the input shaft on the transmission too far forward?

Will not bolt up. Will not work in any way. You need the correct w or g series bellhousing.
