85 Pickup Wheels
« on: Jul 16, 2020, 08:50:06 PM »
Anybody know where I could find a set of these wheels like this for a decent price? I have the old Style Bullet Hole Wheels but have always wanted a set of these. I have an 85 SR5 Extended cab 4x4 and also need to make sure they will fit.

Thanks,

HN

I do have a set of 4, the backspacing is 4.75", so I doubt they would work without spacers, or changing the front rotors to IFS :dunno:.  I know when a buddy put my '90's deluxe rims with 31's on his '85, the front wheels had little turning radius, as the tires hit the springs, IIRC, the stock BS was 4.75 on those rims as well.

If the BS will work, they will need to be re-clear coated, and I have one of the rear center caps, should likely have both, not sure about the front center caps, should be able to use after market if I don't have them floating around.

Shipping would be from 95949 zip code, if you aren't within driving/weekend getaway distance.  Will post pics if you want.

Snowtoy,

I appreciate you replying and taking the time to look for the wheels. I wasn't sure if that style would just bolt on and fit right but have always liked the look of those. I am going to have to pass since the price with shipping would probably be too much not including the spacers (although they are only $100/pair). I looked it up and you are close to 2175 miles away from Jackson, MS so that is a bit too far for a weekend trip. Again, Thank you for looking and replying.

Are there any downsides to using spacers? My truck sits in a garage most of the time so I doubt it would ever get any hard use. No rocks to climb or snow to play in down here only mud.
