97 Toyota Tacoma

Hey guys i have a 97 Tacoma sr5 with a 05 locker rear end and wanted to sas the Tacoma with a Toyota front axle. Can some one guid me in the right direction bcz i would also like to put an elocker in the front housing.please and thank you

Keeping with a toyota theme..you have only a couple options..ruffstuff diamond, and unfortunately fail gear... they all should offer you a width option that should meet your needs..

As stated above by OVRAROK, using a mini truck axle (79-85) in a tacoma is already a challenge of width due to being 55.5" wide. Now that your 1st gen has a 2nd gen rear axle at 65" I believe your only options to keep a toyota front differential would be the above names, or widen a mini truck housing and get shafts cut for it.

However, you also have the option of an FJ80 axle at 63.3". But you'll have to cut all the link brackets and coil spring buckets off if you go with leaf springs. Or you could possibly utilize them and do coil overs. Personally I would cut them all off and make my own brackets or purchase some and link it on coil overs.
