Topic: 1996 Tacoma SAS, Atlas T-case

Bought the truck a little over a month ago for my wife to have her own truck just did a couple little things, Now she would rather use the money for an in-ground pool.

Straight Axle Swap with Dana 44 open Diff
Hy-Steer
Tacoma Rear axle 4:88 gears with Arb

Atlas 2 speed Transfer case
Custom drive lines

Front/rear bumper and rock sliders
Full interior roll cage
Cheaper seats with 5 point harness

Bed has been cut down by 6-8” (Not done by me)

The truck runs/ drives, Engine and drivetrain is in good shape.
Front axle needs an alignment

39” irok tires 5% need to be replaced soon.
Newer pro comp 15” street lock wheels.


Truck has been spray painted and has its fair amount body damage.

Truck came from Colorado so it has a Clean Colorado title.
I have all the paper work from the pass owner ready for the transfer for California. All it needs is the current registration paid, and have dmv do a vin check.
The only problem with getting it registered right now is the atlas doesn’t have a speedometer hook up right now, so it has a check engine light for that. I have all the part number from advanced adapters that you need to convert the atlas to have a speedometer (about $600-700)

If someone is interested in picking it up before I do the speedometer install, I’m looking to get $6800

I haven’t figured out the t-case ratio yet

if you climb under and grab the serial number and call AA they can tell you. I have a really old atlas I bought and I called them and had records on it even though it was like years old.
