I have not tried to install it yet. I plan on going to get the truck from the farm this week and hopefully get it installed.

Do you have pictures of what wasn't lining up correctly?

:tantrum: phone won't give me the image address to attach pics

Here's a link instead

Mounting plates are in frame rails, and up against outboard side of frame

Mounting brackets on the bumper are about 1" wider

You can see I bolted one corner guard mount, which sucks the bumper tight to the frame (passenger side)

On the opposite corner guard mount, you can see I can fit my finger in between the mount and the frame (driver side)

Am I trippin???
Too many paint fumes?
More triangulation?

2nd attempted pic upload

if not heres the album link https://flic.kr/p/TLj9hm

Your links do not work for me. Get some 1/4 inch plate and make some shims!! Put them between the frame and mounting points on the bumper!!

i didnt pay no $500 for shim plates  :smack:

(emailed marlin and it sounds like i may have received the wrong bumper, i need to get some better pics for them to be sure)

I still have not put it on the truck yet. I hope that it fits when I do. Did they ever respond to you getting the wrong one?

alright so i confirmed with marlin that the bumper is correct  :phone:

turns out my frame is a little wavy, which was the problem all along

once i knew the bumper was good to go, i used some 2 inch bolts and sucked the frame into the bumper and then swapped out the long bolts for the standard 1 inch bolts

long unnecessary problem solved  :hammerhead:
