Well folks its been a long time since the first 86bobbedtoys chopped runner build, about 10/11 years

this time its a 2000 3.4 runner being chopped.
We now own our own home and its time for a new project.

same plans on chop,
super short bed dove tailed.
same style front bumper
dana 60s arbs 513s+
47" tsl sx2's
cutthroat4x4 rear u bolt delete
cutthroat4x4 rear 14bolt disk brake brackets
14" bilsteins
leafs front and rear
manual swap
on board air
dual optimas

pricing and parts so far, Im trying to keep track down to the rough dollar.
2000 4runner, paid 1300 but sold 1000 in parts so   300.00

I would love to see in detail how you "chop" this thing. The camo 4runner looks great.
80 shortbed-22re,w56,Marlin 23 spline dual cases,HighAngle drivelines,RUF/63"chevy's,35''mtr's,85 front axle,30 spline Longfields, Allpro highsteer.87 rear axle,5.29 gears,rear spool,BudBuilt cm, marlin HD clutch,ramsey 8000 winch. 
     Also 84 toy DD 22R 4.88s,33'' toyo mt'z, marlin clutch,4inch lift/63's, HA drivelines.

I知 doing alright man!  I知 wishing I had a place to keep/build another truck too.  I値l get there eventually.

What are you going to do for transfercases? convert to dual Toyota cases?  Atlas?

rough bondo on, will even it all out and run a few skim coats to finish it off.
I run a circular sander to rough it down then use a hand block to finish.

total free hand off my head.
did black first, did it all
then green 2nd
khaki 3rd

always wanted to do brown also but adds to many colors
may tone down the khaki and do a tan-brown

Well winter is coming and work will be slowing down so I picked up a Dana 60 full float 30 spline rear axle, should have the rear back together and in a month or so.
