Gasket between trans & t-case
« on: Mar 02, 2019, 04:02:18 PM »
Hey guy's, So I drove up to Kansas & picked up a new old stock L52HD from a guy & plan to install it pretty soon along with my Marlin clutch kit. My problem is I can't find just the gasket that goes between the Trans & the T-case. Anyone have a source for just that gasket or are you guys just using rtv or some other type of sealant?

Edit: ( 03/09/2019 )  Found then for under a $1.00 if anyone else needs one

Edit: Also while I have the T-case out is there any seals or other things I should service/replace on it while it's handy
I recommend orange Toyota FIPG
I am 1/5th of Perfect Fit
SqWADoosh [04:19 PM]: *sigh* I guess Chris is right and I just need to wait until I'm in a place where I have a tow rig and trailer before I get this caliber of truck
Mudder [08:28 PM]:   not try to be a jerk, but are you serious bestgen?
Prismo [06:11 PM]:   Done, time to relax or as Bestgen says....FREEDOM!
HogCanyonHopper [06:54 PM]:   I like my little rod. it gets the job done
H8PVMNT [03:30 PM]: I can go both ways.

Have you had any issues with the transmission? I always worry about surface rust when a transmission sits for a long time after a rebuilt and no oil installed.

Yeah, Toyota orange silicone or the ultra grey from the local parts place. I dont recommend "the right stuff" brand. that stuff is literally cement.
