I don't know of anything bannable that I've done here, but sometimes when logging in I get a message like "Sorry, Lewis Hein, you have been banned from this forum, please take a break from the forum. This ban is not set to expire".

Then I tried it again and logged in fine. If I am banned I will of course respect that, but it would be great to know why so that I can avoid offending people unkowingly in the future. If I'm not, then why does the forum say I am?

Hey Roccrawlintoy.... It's probably a good idea that you are sticking to building Jeep bumpers...... building a 22RE may be a tad too technical for you.

I know my limits clearly you do not. Maybe sticking to making tofu burritos would be more appropriate for you because a 22re is also to technical for you as well.

R…. you’ve been paying attention! Yes… I can build awesome vegan burritos, with tofu added!

All bantering aside… Although I have limited engine building experience, I did not expect to have the problems and the engine failure that I’ve had. My experience so far confirms what I believe and have stated before… successfully rebuilding a 22RE does take a level of skills and knowledge…. that I may not have.

Arguably - NASCAR Teams employ the most skillful and knowledgeable engine builders on the planet. When one of those $250,000 engine blows, was the failure caused by lack of skills or knowledge by the engine builder? Could it be the driver? .... or could it be a component failure?
