I want it and can afford it.  But being smart I just need for Kauai.  I would put on my truck in Oregon.  I'd like to try some serious rock crawling.

BigMike,

Can you comment on whether or not there's still a hope of doing RCLTHD for the first gen Taco?  I know steering rack would need a different solution.  Your answer basically determines whether or not I want to switch platforms.  Thanks!

I want one but there is no real rock crawling here.  I'd just be spending cash to be a poser.

@BigMike, any thoughts of designing sway bars with disconnects for RCLT HD applications?  I like to buy the RCLT HD but while my 4th gen 4runner isn't a daily driver, I still drive it to offroad destinations as opposed to trailering it.  And also would like to retain safely using it occasionally around town as needed.

Ordered my kit 8 months ago, still don't have all the parts.

Some other things people should know about this kit.
-Inner wheel wells need extensive fab work to clear any kind of up travel. This includes cutting a majority of the wheel well out and relocating the battery, air box, power steering reservoir etc. And this is only with 37's
-While doing all of that, you still only get 12" of travel before the Rcv's max out.
-Steering box is poorly mounted for running 37 or 40" tires. Needs more mounting locations.
-For 40" tires and 14.5" of travel, you will need to completely cut out both wheel wells and relocate everything touching them. Even with doing that I do not think a 40" tire will clear the cab side of the wheel well since my 37" tire rubs (and it only measures 36.25")

All these installs I see on YouTube and Instagram have minimal trimming and must just be doing it for the bling because no way they are getting much travel, at least not up travel.

Just want to give people some transparency before ordering that I didn't get.
