Topic: Rear window rail 1st gen 4Runner

Does anybody know if I can buy a new rear window rail for a first gen 4Runner on the interwebs my local junk yard says that all there window rails are rotted out just like mine I plan on going Saturday and looking to see if there is one that I can fix easier than mine but I have been searching for close to a year I guess if all else fails I'll make a break and bend my own

I'm not sure what you mean by the "rail." Can you post a pic?

The rail on the bottom side of the glass that the rollers on the window regulator ride in the driver side rail is rotted out and the roller is gone has been this way since I bought the truck I'm going to try to patch it with steel reinforced epoxy and use a bearing for a roller

we have them , but we're right in the middle of a move right now ..   wont be back up and running till late may .. sorry .

I've acquired a new window rail and regulator I have it installed works great. Unfortunately my 22RE has developed a terrible rocker arm knock so I'm in the middle of purchasing new head camshaft and rocker arm assembly
