NEED AN ECU. HELP!!!
« on: Nov 17, 2018, 01:00:23 PM »
I have a 85 Toyota camper and my ecu went bad. Pulled an ecu from my other camper just to make sure and it worked great.  The part number is 89661-35040. It's an 85 22rec auto trans dually camper.

here's a link to ecu part #s. the number you listed is showing as an 86-87 1 ton. doesn't say anything about auto or manual for that particular ecu. it looks like auto/manual were the same ecu's between 85-88 based on the chart but I don't know if it's accurate.

what's really crazy is that based on my research, the older 22re ecu is the same computer they used in the diesel 2l-t so if the plugs match up on that ebay link above, it might work
