transfer case planetary size?
« on: Oct 09, 2018, 04:46:26 PM »
I'm looking for a high/low planetary gear set with a ring gear 4" to 4.5" diameter.  Preferably something that can be shifted while moving, at least from low to high.  Can anyone tell me how big the Toyota t-case planetaries are?

The ring gear for the chain drive case planetary is roughly 6-1/2" outside dia, and just over 1-1/8" tall.

Thank you, not the answer I was hoping for but that's exactly what I needed to know.
