4 wheel underground link kits
« on: Aug 11, 2018, 10:09:22 PM »
Hey guys...     I am in the process of installing my front 3 link and rear 4 link kits into my truck..  (project Extend-a-toy here on the forum)      seems to be that there are plenty of front 3 link kits out there now but has anyone installed the 4 wheel underground rear 4 link on their truck?       If so, how does the truck handle?   I am assuming that I am going to need some sort of sway bar like an anti rock or something similar. .
Also, did anyone take any good install pics of their rear 4 link kit?     Other than Brians personal truck there is very little out there in the way of rear 4 wheel underground link kit pics...

I would post up some pics of my truckee but ever sinse photo bucket got stupid I really don't know the best way to post up pics now adays..

Thanks...
the never ending build...

I see it's been a while... how did this project turn out?
I met with Brian last Saturday... he delivered the remaining brackets for my rear 3 link. Just waiting on upper/ lower coils for the FOX 12" 2.0's.

I'd like to know how you like the 3 link.  When I bought mine all Brian was making for the rear was 4 links which I bought.  After a lot of thought I decided not to go the 4 link route and had a custom 3 link done.  I wish he had the 3 link earlier.

Not to jack this thread... but, I have his 3 link on the front and it works very well.
I'm hoping to install it as soon as I can, hopefully before SEMA in November.

The crossmember incorporates the upper CO mounts and the lower brackets (in the photo) are to be welded onto the axle tube. The smaller pie shaped parts are lower mount gussets.
This kit will keep me from going through the bed with the CO's.

Any pictures of how the lower CO mount is placed?

No pics yet. It will be welded to the backside of the axle tube if that helps.
