Fuse Box Wiring Harness ID
« on: Jul 19, 2018, 10:51:49 PM »
I'm replacing the radiator and fan on my 85 4runner and was using my circuit tester to look for a fuse to tap in the box under the hood on the passenger side. I had it ground to the battery and everything was fine as I was going along until I touched one of the wires in the harness plugged in the fuse box (see picture below). There was a pop/click and a flash when I hit it. Obviously worried I grounded out and burnt something up so been searching online for wiring/fuse diagrams and through the FSM. I found everything except where that wiring plug runs to. Everything is taken apart now so I haven't had a chance to see if it's running alright. Can you help me out on what the harness services and what potential damage I might have done since there is problem not a fuse upstream of those wires? https://ibb.co/h41Sgy/IMG https://ibb.co/h41Sgy/IMG
