Parting out 1986 4Runner
« on: Jul 09, 2018, 09:50:41 AM »
I picked this 4runner up for the transmission/t-case to swap into another toyota truck i am working on. Most of the rest of it is for sale. What doesnt sell is going to scrap. The engine is a 22re and will run on starting fluid. I installed a new pump in the tank and fuel filter. Only thing i can see is missing is the intake boot to the throttle body.

Parts im keeping or has already been spoken for:
5-speed trans and t-case including shifters and trim pieces
22re engine harness
IFS box and power steering related stuff
IFS rear end
IFS front wheel hubs
front/rear driveshafts

Prices on a few things.
wheels and tires $250 (tires are in good shape with plenty of tread 31x10.5x15)
22re with 271k on it: $350
front diff: $150
doors for half doors: $40
Frame and whats left of the tub: $100 (no title)
Seats: $100
Misc interior pieces: Make offer
Roll bar: $80
taillights in good shape: $50 for the pair
tailgate (not sure if the window goes up): $150
IFS locking hubs: $60
Calipers (lets assume for cores): $25
Gas tank and new fuel pump: $100
rear leafs: $60

If you see something you want thats not listed, let me know. I can ship small parts if they will fit in a flat rate USPS box.

Located in East Bernard (77435) but can meet in the Houston area for free.

Is that airflow meter a #22250-35020? If so, and if it isn’t all corroded inside, I’d be interested....
How much you want shipped to 95032?

I appreciate the pics, thanks man. I’m gonna hold out for a unit that doesn’t need quite so much cleanup. I may regret this, I know these parts are getting harder and harder to find, but only need it for a spare so no rush...hopefully...

No worries. The outside could use a clean for sure but the inside is spotless. Let me know. I’m not firm on my price by any means.

As far as I know, yes. As you can see in the pic, the driver headlamp bezel is cracked on the outside.

Damn, that’s the one I really need. You can easily tell the oem apart from the aftermarket ones. The aftermarkets are thin and bend easily.

Could you take a picture of the top of the A/C compressor and the hoses going into it? Also of the A/C lines behind the grill? Mine somehow corroded super bad between the steel nuts and the aluminum male threads at most of the connections. Barely got it all apart but everything is super crunchy going back together. If they are the same as what I have I have a list of A/C parts I'd like.

Yep, that's the same as mine. As long as the big nuts break free and turn nice on all the fittings I'm interested. How much do you want for both hoses to/from the compressor, both compressor manifolds (little blocks on top of the compressor held on by Allen head bolts), both of the metal lines that attach to the drier, the metal line that runs along the inside of the fender from the core support to the evaporator, and the pipe inside the evaporator box circled in this diagram? Basically, all the hoses/pipes in the A/C system + the manifolds. I'll pay shipping costs.

I'm looking for the "ramp" under the tailgate attached to the underfloor that the "U" shaped spring rides on. That helps the tailgate not slam down and assists in lifting to close. Price shipped to 91106?
