New BFG km3...
« on: Jun 12, 2018, 09:52:35 PM »
Are slated to be released next year, according to our rep.  But don’t worry, they do have one size out now, so if you want lt285/70r17, you’re covered :shaking:

To add insult to injury, they just announced a huge rebate for our employees if they buy a set by the end of august, which doesn’t do any of us much good!

The bigger bummer is they seem to have haulted production of most sizes of the km2

I veen a few other sizes available. 35s, 265s, etc. I was quoted $345 for a 35/12.5R18. Not too bad.

Nate, If you want to use your rebate, I’ll buy a set of 17” wheels and you can donate the tires.  That size tire should fit on my Tacoma decently. :gap:

I see they have released an official list of sizes to be available in the first run, though that doesn’t always mean they will actually be available.  I have been off for nearly a week but will check when I get back

They look more siped and have sidewalls more like the AT.

Saw a couple other sizes available too.  Also saw their list for the first wave of release and there were quite a few sizes on there

And I am still rocking the old BFG Mud Terrains I bought off of Kyota!      They are getting thin, but still rocking them.

What's the difference between a KM2 and a KM3?

They have the KO2 sidewalls, the tread pattern is tighter and they got rid of the large sipe in the outside lug and their lugs are smaller.  These are the visual cues, I'm running the KM2s.   :twocents:
