I’m looking at doing a home brew hydro assist and I’m curious to know the collapsed length I should go with. I know I need a ram with a 6” throw and 1.5” bore. I found one on surplus center but they are sold out. Surplus center ram is 11.5” fully collapsed. I found another that’s 14” collapsed... will 2.5” make a difference?
