I am the Thriller, a well-loved, worn out, rattle-canned '79 shortbed in Oregon

Hi. First of all, thank you to the long-time members. I've gotten a lot of good info from this page over the years. Time to make an appearance and ask some questions. I put this truck together from a pile of rusty parts on the nevada side of lake tahoe in the summer of '01 and we moved to Portland shortly after. It's been my only car/truck of my life except for some I didn't have long enough to register. I have about 60K on the 22R that I rebuilt back then to get it rolling. I've rebuilt or replaced about half of the truck since then and still have a lot to do. I'm gathering parts and info to re-redo the drive line from the clutch to the drive shafts, which will be the first project I post about. I'm re-redoing the suspension and steering after that. Re-redoing things correctly is a theme with me and this truck, so I thought, why not join a forum? Thanks for having me! :turtle3:

79' short bed
22RE swap, with the E-stuff deleted.
Weber 32/36 and headers
5 speed swap, heading for W-56 swap
Downy +3" leafs all around and longer travel shock mounts. The leafs are too stiff to use any of the shock, so... thanks downy. Heading for 63s and RUF.
4.38 gears, open diffs, 32" MTs, moving to 35s

79' on the plate in the door frame. '80 on my registration. So do you call it a '79 or an '80?

So, when I click on yall's profiles I only see "arcade statistics", not any kind of profile that I was expecting. What am I doing wrong?
I think this is the kind of dumb question I need to post 8 of before I'm allowed to post pics.
