LC offset tcase behind R series trans??
« on: Feb 07, 2018, 01:24:08 AM »
Has anyone ever ran a 40,60 or 62 series landcruiser transfercase behind a R150 v6 style transmission? Due to spare parts availability it in my area if I can adapt these I’d be really set up since I am wanting to use a complete set of 60/62 axles in my project which are both offset diffs

If you are worried that the drive line angle won’t work with the offset, don’t be. That angle won’t affect anything other than the gas tank if you are keeping it in the stock location.

It can be done.  Marlin did it. I will get the details on that for you tomorrow.
