Argh. I should revive this truck. Had too much fun with the 85 4Runner. This truck is now a shed/parts truck and as I was going out get some stuff I recalled some really fond memories of my lil Toyota. It's sitting in the back yard in a very sad state. It has one 31 inch mud terrain (wheels and tires went onto the 82) and 3 tiny spare tires. I'm thinking for a short time goal we have an 85 short bed with a torched cab (stolen and recovered) and there is minor damage to the engine bay. Melted emissions stuff, that's about it. I'm thinking pull that engine and do my best to drop it into my truck. Use some of my old trick parts (some parts are going into Dingbro) and buy what I have to. Once I get my truck running that's gonna be sweet and I will build my permanent engine. Once that is done, put the stock engine back in the burned truck and build a F-toy type buggy.

You all have seen the burnt truck so I won't waste my time with pics. Plans so far are

-Finish hacking up red :disturbed:
-Fix brakes on 1982 long bed
-Get and install engine in Dingbro (gonna rob my truck for some parts)
-Pull engine from burnt engine and install in my truck
-Enjoy truck for a while
-Tear it down and start again!

The 4Runner is good because it's built, I'm not really too big on 4Runners thermselves. More top heavy and short wheelbase. I'm more into the 112 wheelbase.
