hello my name is Sean, in the beautiful norcal. got some problems with my 4x4... having trouble getting it to idle, right now choke works well on start up. one blurp releases fast idle the way it should. last blurp brings truck to idle; however idle is real slow like tractor, dont have tach to see rpms but have some vids to hear/see.

Sounds like you need to get a timing light and get friendly with your idle mixture screw on the carb.

i set baseline settings this morning, ended with mixture at 2  1/4, idle at 1  1/2.    thanks for timing advice!  now it idles and i can atleast drive the truck around to shop n such.  I also adjusted the choke and marked it, stood there and watched the plates open up.
