I have a question
Because my kid is in school I can only pull him out 2 days which has me leaving thursday from SoCal. It will take me around 8 hours to get to Loon. The earliest I can get to Loon will be around 1:30-2:30 Thursday afternoon.

does anybody know if there are any runs heading out around that time?
Right now Iam thinking:
Thursday to buck camp
Friday to the springs camp
saturday play around the springs
sunday early head back out to loon (I have not yet ran it this way)

got another 85 runner. build coming soon!!

Man. Still have to get my forms in.... Slaaaacker I know.

redwolf3

BigMike-
What's the process for me to add a co-pilot / ride-along (since my forms have already been submitted)?

CLC

Since your forms have already been submitted, just make a copy of the waiver, have your co-pilot sign it and mail it back in to me. I'll just add it to your paperwork.

I'll be there.

Leaving the San Jose area early Friday AM. Should hit Loon by noon. Camp at the top of the slabs after Little Sluice Friday night. Roll down to the springs Saturday morning.

I'm putting new axles, birfs and an e locker in the front of my 85 Xtra-Cab so my rig can handle the Rubicon but, I don't know if I'm going to have it done before this event this year so I'm planning on next year.
She still has stock axles & birfs and they have been getting a hell of a beating over the past two years that I have had my rig locked and dual t cased, I don't want to be the guy holding up the trail because my axle broke.
33" tires are not ideal for this trek either and that's what my rig still has on her, can't afford the 35"s this year.
fasterspider, now older and slower.

havik

33s are fine for the rubicon
specially if you already have duals and lockers

i know an old guy that just took a ext cab taco with 33s and a rear locker and did the con
Its not what it used to be back in the day
got another 85 runner. build coming soon!!
