Topic: crawl box adapter question

Hey guys, I just replaced my 5209 bearing in my older mc07 the one with the triangle bearing retainer and three bolts. My question is do you or should you locktite those three bolts? I hate for them to back out. Thanks

I would use blue locktite

Good thing I thought about this after it was rebuilt, but not installed. Did they come with locktite from marlin?

I'm sure if marlin did the rebuild, they did all the proper procedures

I replaced the bearing myself. Took less than 10 minutes.  Just want to know before tear into it again.  Calling on big mike lol

I would blue locktite them, in that case

Messaged the marlin sales rep. He says they use red. I do recall using my impact gun on them, but I use it for just about everything.
