« on: Jan 05, 2017, 04:02:25 PM »
any one know where I can buy a blockoff plate for the rear abs sensor in the third member of a toyota 8in v6 dif.
have seen one that fits the sensor hole and has a hole for a cap screw that holds it in place.

I used a freeze plug 3/4"

10-4 on the freeze plug, clean your hole with some alcohol and add some red RTV and you're done.   :burnout:

If you still have the sensor this is the easiest thing to do.

Do this mod:  https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/abs-delete-2001-2004-tacoma.377243/
I did this after my SAS and rear Diamond install.
Be sure to pull the ABS fuse from the fuse box under the hood along with the bulb in the dash (PITA).

Go with a Wilwood (or comparable) proportion valve.

You will like the way it stops... mine stops on a friggin' dime.

Good luck.
