So been a while since any updates. Not much going on. Had surgery a couple weeks ago and just been resting, but in the mean time I have scavenged up some serious parts. Got a set of the OME CS010R. Got bushings and greasable bolts compliments to MC for the last minute hook up Thursday. Also scored really big on a complete '06 chevy Silverado for a 4.8 swap in the runner. Been debating on this for a while and decided on it. Plus the truck was free and couldn't refuse it. I will pull the engine and everything I will need for legal CA swap and get the ball rolling after my wheeling trips this summer. Should have the RUF swap done this week, will post updates.

hell yeah. you can go thru the swap harness this summer and strip it. that'll be a nice swap.

Yes I did the RUF swap and need to make one more adjustment in the leafs. Been busy with work and trying to find time. May try and sell this rig. Found a nice 3rd gen runner that I'm really interested in. Also got all new steering for it to convert to heims. Just finding time lol

Well holy thread revival. I finally pulled the trigger on linking this thing. Ordered Barnes 3 link kit and fox 2.5" 14" travel air shocks. Will be making updates as I go

I have made quite a but of progress. For some reason my taptalk app will not let me log into the forum so I need another way to *upload pictures*. At this point I have everything needed to complete the links system minus my full hydro kit and anti rock which I wanted to wait to purchase last anyways. Old brackets are all cut off and axle is out on jack stands. Will go at it with a flap disc tonight and pick up some PVC for mock up and hopefully finish my link calculator to give me a ball park on where to start. I am excited to say the least!

Finally able to load some pictures. I can only upload one at a time unless I pay lol. Tomorrow will have axle at full stuff and start tacking up some brackets. Will update as time permits.

Got some more work done and just trying to make as much time as a can without angering the boss too much lol. Got lower brackets and links tacked in. Need to make some clearance for upper link and hopefully be able to cycle everything tomorrow as far as the links go. Bent up my hoops yesterday’s and also utilized my buddies plasma table and made some frame pads for my hoops and shock tabs. Will be nice not to rub the firewall anymore! Pictures will follow.

My hopeful frame height will be 26.5” and bottom of belly at 23”. Will have about 3-4” of shaft at ride height which is what was recommended.
