That fat hole should line up perfectly. Cut a small hole in your carpet, install a rivet nut and doneSent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
My '91 had a threaded nut, not just a hole.Once you get the fronts mounted, you should be able to get the rears, the thickness of the carpet is likely keeping you from getting the inner rear lined up.
Will I need spacers? I am pretty sure the seats will look leaned in forward the middle if I don't have them.
The only place I have had to use spacers is with the inner rear mounts when installing buckets, otherwise they seats tilt toward each other. It usually takes a few stacked washers, however w/the buckets being from the same era as the truck, you may not need any spacers. I would get them mounted first, then figure out if the need any adjustments.

Grainger?
Amazon has them. Look for them there using: TIME-SERT Metric Steel Insert M12X1.25X24.0MM Part # 12125
Don't use a rivet nut that big... I'm using 1/4 20 rivet nuts with grade 8 bolts. Works great. Way easier to install.. look at how big you have to drill that hole for the rivet nut.. for mine it's already 25/64ths... Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
Measure the hole that's already there and then use the corresponding rivet nut for that size.
Can I just use a normal rivet gun?
No.
I don't know, but Google is your friend.
