Would cushion off the runner work on a sr5 bucket sliding frame? I will have to find that out because that might be my best option.

That fat hole should line up perfectly. Cut a small hole in your carpet, install a rivet nut and done

I would have to get a rivet nut for the front but I think it might line up if I screw the front down. But I don't think it is level. Though I can add spacers. Guess it is time to get them re upholstered. Thank you for the help!!!!! Will post update soon.

My '91 had a threaded nut, not just a hole, the '94 Supra seat front bolted up just fine.

If you know anyone who can weld, you could weld a tab onto a bolt and slide the bolt in from behind, similar to the bed's bolts, use a nut insert.

The no weld/new tool system, would be to take a piece of 3/8"x 3/4 or 1" flat stock, drill and tap a 3/8" for the seat mount and rivet the flat stock to the backside of the mounting area.

Once you get the fronts mounted, you should be able to get the rars, the thickness of the carpet is likely keeping you from getting the inner rear lined up.

Will I need spacers? I am pretty sure the seats will look leaned in forward the middle if I don't have them.

The only place I have had to use spacers is with the inner rear mounts when installing buckets, otherwise they seats tilt toward each other.  It usually takes a few stacked washers, however w/the buckets being from the same era as the truck, you may not need any spacers.  I would get them mounted first, then figure out if the need any adjustments.

Does anyone know where to find a rivet nut that is the same thread and size as the seat bolts? I believe they are m12 1.25

Don't use a rivet nut that big... I'm using 1/4 20 rivet nuts with grade 8 bolts. Works great. Way easier to install.. look at how big you have to drill that hole for the rivet nut.. for mine it's already 25/64ths...

Could I just get a normal locking nut and just jb weld it on? Or even normal weld? I would like to use original bolts if I can.

Measure the hole that's already there and then use the corresponding rivet nut for that size.

will I probably have to use a new bolt? Can I just use a normal rivet gun?
