Brake setup
« on: Aug 07, 2016, 03:03:33 PM »
I figured this would be the best section to ask this. What's everyone running for their brake setup with what size tires? I'm looking for

Master cylinder type and size:
Front caliper type:
What rear wheel cylinders are you running:
Brake booster:
Tire size:

I'll start
MC:Marlin Crawler FJ80 1" bore
Front caliper: V6 brake calipers and 1982 FJ60 brake rotors
Rear wheel cylinder: FJ60 (1982) 1" wheel cylinders
Brake booster: Dual diaphragm brake booster out of an 89 Toyota pickup 4x4 with auto tranny
Tire size: 31's.

I know I've gone overboard for only having 31" tires but I like to stop quickly when I need to.
