Hey folks,
I'm new to the forum and it looks like there is a ton of great info. I do wonder though why newbies aren't allowed to post to the classifieds before having 12 posts?  I'm trying to track down some good seats to replace mine in my 86 4Runner, and would have liked to post there to inquire.  Thanks.

It is to prevent spam and other undesirable things. Its not too tough to get your post count up. Before you know it you'll have hundreds of posts and spend far too much of your life on here.

No real need to post up in the classified for seats, chances are anything that would be an oem bolt in for your seats would be as worn out as yours are.  FWIW bucket seats from 2nd and 3rd gen Runners, 2nd gen trucks and Tacoma's will bolt in.  I would consider X-cab bucket seats(usually in SR5's), they move further forward than the4dr Runners, since they have to allow access to X-cab seats, similar to the passenger seat in your '86.
