I hope this ain't beating a dead horse, if so please direct me in the right direction.
My inquiry is this, I'd like to have a list of things I should have in my rig when I head out for the trails. I have a general idea, I think,  but I'd like any and all suggestions so that I can be prepared. I have first aid kit, fire extinguisher, straps, winch, snatched block, tool kit, gloves like I said the basics. But I would like to hit some more difficult trails and want to be prepared, what extra parts should I have with me?  Thanks.  And sorry if this is already posted.

How is your truck built and what is your driving style?  I am a minimalist that carries some tools but outside of some oil I don't really carry any spare parts. I did carry a spare axle until I upgraded to Longfields.

Low pressure tire gauge and a source of air.  You will be airing down so it's nice to air up when you get back on pavement.

I think tire deflators are a worth while investment.

Good set of tools,
stuff to change a tire, (large enough jack, lug wrench)

SqWADoosh [04:19 PM]: *sigh* I guess Chris is right and I just need to wait until I'm in a place where I have a tow rig and trailer before I get this caliber of truck
Mudder [08:28 PM]:   not try to be a jerk, but are you serious bestgen?
Prismo [06:11 PM]:   Done, time to relax or as Bestgen says....FREEDOM!
HogCanyonHopper [06:54 PM]:   I like my little rod. it gets the job done
H8PVMNT [03:30 PM]: I can go both ways.

Don't see hi-lift jack.

Rig first-aid kit, tire plugs and valve stems, duct tape(can be used to seal side wall slices enough to hold air), zip-ties, 1-2 quarts of gear oil, radiator line repair(either hoses or pvc and clamps that can be used to fix them)1-2gal of coolant(if wont be wheeling near waterways), a couple of spare spark plug wires/spark plugs, fan belts, electrical wire/stripper/tape/fuses.  You may never use most of these, but someone in your group will.

Spare parts are going to be dependent on the rig, and how far away from civilization you are going.

Should also have an SNAFU overnight kit, for those day trips that end up being overnight ones.
