That was my thought, I have limited experience with land cruisers. Even less with Toyota diesels. Especially those not native to the us.

Lots of jdm pto takeoffs out there. .   You can generally pick one up for around 500 bucks. ..    the issue is that sometimes the drive gear in the tcase won't be there for the pto so you will need to split the case open and install that as well. ..

8274 ftw!

i can buy the parts to do engine driven pump but its something to consider. Its a shame the PTO output isnt rearward.

So if your going 8274 its definitely not gonna be for a pto winch. What would you need a hydraulic pump for?

Power pack for a log splitter, container moving equipment, timber winch, could go to a hydraulic 8274, there are a few possibilities, just need to justify it all what with the heavy hydraulic tank and valve gear, not to mention the pto itself hanging off the case in the firing line of logs rock, branches and stumpy sheep.

I really want one of those winches

They do a single motor winch thats cheaper than a new 8274.
There really nice pieces and the end plates are fully cnc machined and they are 100% UK manufactured.
They also do a billet cnc twin motor adapter for an 8274 and many other red anodised niceties

Dragged her out of the barn, diesel paperweight is sold.
Found all the stuff i lost 12 months ago, keys, flashlight, 12mnth old starbucks cup, phone leads, tape measures, padlocks, pair of pants etc

Also tore into the split case, having pulled the vacuum actuator apart i may yet adapt it to use cable actuation instead of the massive linkage system from Advance Adapters.
