Looking for a 97 era 4wd 4Runner.
Seems they are lighter than the 2nd gen runners and in 97 they went up to 5000lbs towing capacity.
I have my own transmission and transfer case as well as VW TDI to install.
I do not plan on towing 5000lbs on any frequent basis but want it to be legal and insurable if I do.
Would still consider the 2nd gen, but legally you cannot tow a second gen with a second gen which kinda sucks.
