hello I have a 1980 Toyota pickup 4X4. what mods, if any, are needed to go from the L43 (4speed) to the L52 (5 speed)?

transmissions are the same length, shouldn't be any problems

another quick question. is all the linkages the same? what may i need to finish the swap?

what linkages? the shifters stick out of the tranny

the clutch linkages is what I was thinking. or do I have to cut the shifter hole since I'm going from side shift to top shift?
