So it looks like I'll be going up on Friday afternoon/early evening next week to Naches. Then I don't have to miss any work and can still make it.

Any chance you want to move the previously planned Friday wheeling to Saturday?

Or just spend a shorter time at the rocks and do a "best of" on the other trails.  I am curious to try some of your other lines at the rocks that I have not done before.

Alright so here is the latest:

I was contacted by the same group who me and my club met on the trails last year at the beginning of our trip to Naches. They were such a cool group of Jeepers (I know right...) that we ended up running with them the entire weekend. It just so happens that they are going to be up there from Wednesday to Sunday this week. So with this run being gimped by so many people not being able to make it I have made the decision to morph our trip with theirs. This has many advantages. The first is that with them arriving on Wednesday they will be able to secure a large enough camping spot much easier. The second is that they bring a dedicated camp chef with them who cooks breakfast, lunch, and dinner for everyone (have to throw in cash obviously). The third is that they are all veterans of the area and know the trails as well as I do or even better. Should make for quite the convoy on Saturday.

P.S. This has me back to going on Thursday per the original plan.

Are they targeting the same camp right next to the Crow Creek Campground?

Also, you may want to clarify that if you have not reserved a meal ticket in advance you need to cover your own meals.  You don't want anyone showing up with money and the food to be limited.

I did one better and reached out individually to everyone that is coming. I suppose on the snowball chance in hell of someone coming on here and trying to join at the last minute and thinking there would be a meal for them yes I should specify.

*** The meals are locked in at this point. If you are coming and haven't verified with me that you will be taking place in the camp chef meals then there will not be one waiting for you. ****

Great news boys. We know exactly where we are camping. I just heard from Heath the leader of the other group. They have secured their desired camping spot at the Crow Creek campground. It is here: http://www.google.com/maps/place/Crow+Creek+Campground/@47.0157683,-121.1400657,17.25z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x5490abdd38ebf177:0xccc9cf1a807729fe!8m2!3d47.01652!4d-121.140529

Don't know the exact spot in the campground however it will be somewhere in this area. Just look for my truck

Does any one have a map of the area? Specifically from the wagon trail? Me and my bro are coming over across the wagon trail Friday night and camp, and we will try to hopefully meet up with you guys on Saturday. Were not entirely sure how far his truck will make it, so that is why I say "hopefully" if we don't see ya, were just gonna run around and do our own thing  :driving:

No problem Ax. So here are the directions from the beginning of the Naches Wagon Trail, or in your case since you'll be running it backwards the end, to our campground. Its pretty simple you just go down FS-70/19 (the road is both designations) towards 410 until you see the small bridge on your right that takes you towards "Crow Creek Campground". If you hit "Kaner Flats Campground" on your left then you have missed it. Here it is on Google Maps for you:

I really wanted to attend but I've been swamped with the shop and no time to work on my runner... You also need money and time off to go wheeling... Maybe I'll get it done sometime this year. So yes, shame on me...  :outtahere:

I guess you get one of these then:  :dunce:

We all understand that life happens.  No worries.  The trip worked out very well in the end once Andrew was contacted by the other group that we wheeled with last year.  Should be a plenty large group.
