awd limted transfer case in automatic tacoma?
« on: Jan 17, 2015, 11:31:14 PM »
So I might have a dumb question. But the winters in north dakota suck, driving a tacoma we have ice on the roads from october till may. I have a automatic 96 tacoma 3.4. What if I swapped in the all wheel drive transfer case from a 00 limited runner? I know there would be some wiring and things to get around.  But would the drive train put up with it? The diff is what I'm mostly thinking about or should I get the diff from the runner? or just scrap the idea and throw more weight in the bed and use 4high some times?
