I'm selling my brand new zero miles never ran still in the wrapping 22re motor from davez offroad. His motors are built and there is a long wait for these motors. Way better than the chinese knock offs, I paid 1750 for this motor I'm only asking 1550 cash. Here's a little info straight from his website.
1985 to 1995 22R/RE engines:
1.Block is bored and torque plate honed.
2.Block surface is decked.
3.New rear main seal.
4.New brass freeze plugs are installed.
5.all threads are tap chased and cleaned.
6.Crankshaft is reground (.25 or .50mm) and micro-polished. Oil passage plugs removed and replaced. Some machine shops will tell you that this is not necessary, we disagree. Image
7.Connecting rod big and small ends are re sized.
8.New pistons, pins and pin bushings (sized to fit)
9.New ITM chrome rings are gaped and installed
10.New ITM rod bearings and main bearings
11.Rebuilt cylinder head.
12.Front balancer installed.
13.Valves are adjusted and eng is shipped at TDC.
14.Intake and exhaust valves get a 4 angle valve job.
15.Exhaust valve seats are fully radiused.
16.New valve springs.
17.New ITM camshaft
18.ITM full gasket set.
19.New ITM steel guid timing chain set.
20.New ITM oil pump.
21.Valve cover baffle removed for cleaning and re installed.
22.Cleaned and painted oil pan and pick up tube are installed.
