4340 chromoly axle shaft questions
« on: Aug 25, 2014, 09:05:25 AM »
I have a couple questions about the 4340 chromoly rear axle shafts that Marlin sells. They will be going on my 04 Tacoma. I haven't been able to get ahold of Marlin for several weeks via phone or email, so I figured I would ask here.

They will work with ABS without any modification unlike Trailgear's shafts, correct?

The site states that they require a bearing case from an older year. Will I need to make sure to get a wheel bearing or anything else associated with the bearing case from the same year as it?

Just want to be thorough, thanks in advance!
