Auto lockers
« on: Apr 02, 2015, 09:24:51 AM »
Does anyone have an opinion on Yukon vs Spartan (or Detroit, etc) in the arena of automatic lockers??  Looking to get one in the back of my 4runner and debating which one to go with as they're all roughly the same price... thanks!

^^^ what addict said, I've beaten on mine for many thousands of miles both on and off road with no complaints and no hiccups.

Aussie lockers are great, especially for the price! I threw one in the front of my IFS yota and holy crap it climbs like a mountain goat!!! Makes a little noise but it doesn't bother me.

How is the driveability on the road with the Aussie?  Does it lock up around corners a lot and make for a rough ride?  Thanks!

As far as auto lockers go, I dont think you'll find anything that runs smoother than the Aussie. All auto lockers are gonna have some drawbacks on the street. The only way to get around it is with a selectable.

No just run what you have. Stock rear axles are great.
