Finally got around to calling and got some information on the rebuild. The standard rebuild includes the heavy duty bearing retainer plate. You can add the billet shift fork and thrust washer into your order (by paying for the parts, of course) and Marlin will install it during the rebuild. When I talked to them, they had sent out something like 16 rebuilt trannies THAT DAY, so no wonder there's a 9-11 week wait. Apparently, it's worth it though...I definitely have one in my future, just not sure how soon.
