I looked into one of those in the past. Duty cycle is pretty low I've heard of adding computer fans to I prove the issue. It ain't no miller, Lincoln, or Hobart that's for sure. Want a good welder pick one of those up, but I'm sure the Clark will throw down some descent welds, gotta be better than a harbor freight

So I have a set of shock hoops the I originally intended to mount on the rear vertically like the front but they are too tall and my shocks wont reach them let alone be anywhere near correct travel length so I came up with this idea yea I know it looks funny and I've never seen it done before but figured I would post the idea up with a picture and see what you guys thought.

Heck yes that's what my thoughts were, This way they will also stay tucked under my expanded metal bed that I was thinking of running, Thanks for the positive feedback.

Also just a idea but on my old set up I just welded a bolt to that cross member an mounted them right on that an put the nut on tight an good to go! Never had a problem with it at all! U can kinda see it in this pic!

I planned to notch into the tube about 1/2" and at that height I will get pretty close to correct up/down travel still working it a little bit but that's what I am currently thinking.

I tried this but I Prematurely to this build welded my shock tabs to the top of my axle 3 years ago so they don't line up so that's when I came up with this idea. They lined up on the other truck I had which was a 4x4 frame but then on this 2wd build they did not about 3" off to the rear of that cross member.

I'm currently on hold due to finances waiting to buy some things for this truck so for now I'm working on truck with stuff I have laying around the yard So I took this cargo hitch extender piece and unbolted the receiver portion then used the rest of it to hold my fuel tank & battery. I'm going to finish the rest of the bed with the original plastic bed liner doved to fit in bed I think it will work good & be easily removed if ever need be.

Yea thats the other half of my bed sides they need to be welded back on to my truck. What bed space I have is just enough for my camping gear & cooler Nothing else required I travel lite.
